May 20 Drive and Dine
The Lake Tahoe Corvette Club donated $500 to the Veterans Guest House in Reno in commemoration of Armed Forces Day, May 20. The facility provides free lodging and meals to any veteran or their spouse undergoing treatment at any medical facility in Northern Nevada.
Members of the Lake Tahoe Corvette Club enjoyed lunch at Famous Dave’s BBQ restaurant in Reno prior to their visit to the Reno VA Hospital for their Armed Forces Day Drive and Dine May 20, 2023. Those participating included Don Dreischmeyer, Caren Adkins, Gary Mast, Linda Dosey, Charlie Hyatt, Tona Brown, Barbara Coe, Jim and Marilyn Smith, Jackey Christani and her guest, Robin Pierce.

LTCC club member Jim Smith shows his Corvette to fellow veteran Edwin Johnson and Reno VA Hospital staff member David Sanders, R.N. Club members held a Corvette parade around the hospital and then vets were able to come out to the parking lot to get close up views of the cars.
